We had a wonderful stay at La Griglia Guest House. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially during our meal where they helped us choose a delicious wine. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. The view from our room and the hotel itself was lovely, even on a cloudy day. It must be absolutely breathtaking when the sun is shining!

We loved the charming alpine style of the hotel, with beautiful old furniture and unique wall designs. The upgrade to a room with a balcony and lake view was a delightful surprise. The staff was helpful in ensuring our electric bikes were charged. The hotel's garden and ample parking were an added bonus. The location in a scenic and less touristy area near Lake Como was perfect for our cycling adventures. Breakfast had a great variety and the freshly baked brioches were a delicious treat. we highly recommend a stay at this quaint hotel.

During my stay at La Griglia, I was pleasantly surprised by the care and attention I received from the staff. Despite arriving during siesta time, they went above and beyond to prepare a delicious salad and cold cuts just for me. The hospitality made me feel like I was visiting family. Additionally, even without air conditioning, the room remained pleasantly cool, even better than another hotel I stayed at in Como. The walk to the center of Argegno through the footpath provided stunning views along the way. I had a wonderful experience at La Griglia.

The hotel is located in a charming hillside village with stunning views of the surrounding area. the serene garden was a great place to relax with a drink and unwind after a busy day exploring. the room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and had a small balcony with a lovely view. the staff, although limited in English, were friendly and helpful. Another advantage was the delicious breakfast and dinner options available at the hotel.

It is important to note that the location of the hotel is high up in the hills, so getting to the nearby town may require some physical fitness. the walk back up to the hotel can be quite steep, although there is a occasional bus that drops you right at the hotel entrance.

Lovely meals, especially the in-season porcini mushrooms. Hotel provided necessary amenities. Close to beautiful hikes, and not far from the lake. Nice seating on front lawn.
